So Let's Talk Skin Care

When I stress, I break out (I have a margarita or two as well, but that's besides the point). Over the past couple of months, I've had to deal with more stress than usual. My husband is in the military, and because of that, we are always moving. I've been married to him for 4 1/2 years, and in that small amount of time we've lived in three different states. Having to pack up, leave the "family" that you just adopted, and move to a place where everything is new, nothing is known, and not knowing if all of your household goods will still be in one piece when you get there is pretty stressful to say the least. Needless to say, I haven't loved my face very much for the past couple of months with unpacking everything, getting situated, and making sure all the bills are paid. (I can't even imagine how Army wives WITH kids do it!!) Anyhoo, I decided to finally break down and look into Clinique's skin care line. I've had their 3-step products for a few months, but hadn't been using it. Instead, I was something that you could get from your very own, very local Walmart.
I pulled out my 3-step stuff and started using twice a day as normal. Let me tell you, my blemishes have practically ceased to exist! And my skin looks healthier than ever! Because I've had fewer blemishes, my foundation/concealer, powder application has been easier to apply, and has been going on more smoothly. I highly recommend Clinique's 3-step system for anybody - especially if you have sensitive skin. I also recommend their pore minimizer refining lotion if you have bigger than average pores. I've been using it on my cheeks, the tip of my nose, and my forehead for the past week and a half, and I have already noticed that my pores are less noticeable from when I started.
If you're looking for a moisturizer with an SPF in it for your fun in the sun summer extravaganzas, make sure you grab Clinique's Superdefense Triple Action Moiturizer with SPF 25. I have the one for combination oily to oily skin. I put it on at the beginning of my day and by the time night comes around, my face still looks fresh. The moisturizer goes on light and smooth and doesn't feel heavy like some other SPF moisturizers I've used.
Last but not least, Clinique has something called Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer. It is because of this stuff that my blemish "scars" have become less visible, and my uneven skintone has become, well, more even. I have yet to try their 15-minute mask that goes along this lotion, but once I get the chance to try it, I'll let know how well it fares.
Overall, I guess I would recommend anything Clinique to anybody who asked. The fact that I've tried about 5-6 different products and they've done nothing but good things, well, let's just say I'm sold.

Hi! I am just wondering... if you use a sunscreen at all.. that doesn't clog your pores anddoesn't make your skin have a white cast ??
